Finally after almost 2 years of trying at first to work with the school district and trying to understand how they could twist what the laws mean. One time I said that" the law clearly states that the L.R.E(least restrictive environment) is in a class with typical developing peers." The District personal for children with disabilities said "that's why we have lawyers because everyone interprets the laws differently." So I got a lawyer and the school got a lawyer and both lawyers explained to the district office personal the correct "interpretation of the law" and so now our Lil J is in school with her peers where she rightly belongs.

Way to go Mama. J looks so happy to be at school. She is going to have so much fun. By the way congratulations on your move to CA. I wish I could do the same. Maybe we see you there next year.
